The West Nile Delta Project involves the development of gas and condensate fields located within the North Alexandria and West Mediterranean Deepwater concessions in the Mediterranean sea, approx. 85 km off the coast of Alexandria.
Production started in March 2017 and the capacity is expected to reach about 25 per cent of Egypt’s current gas production. Our equipment will be installed onshore Egypt as a part of the MEG Regeneration Module with the purpose of separation of salts and solids from MEG. Our equipment was delivered in April 2017 and the contract is the last in a series of 14 similar deliveries and proves the superb quality and reliability of the specially developed IHI decanter centrifuges for the MEG process.
