WORKSHOP
Haakon Larsen AS (HL) has a fully equipped workshop with a total area of 1.200 m2 where more than 100 repairs carried out annually. Centrifuge repairs require accurate dynamic balancing ensured by our trained mechanics in compliance with our high quality standards.
HL is an official IHI workshop but with the capacity to handle most type of centrifuge repairs, including:
- Repairs on decanters and gears
- Balancing of decanter scrolls, bowl shells and hubs.
- Test run possibilities
- Complete overhaul and servicing of used machines
SPARE PARTS
The MEG centrifuges are designed and built according to client specific requirements resulting in a wide range of project specific spares where stock of spares are limited.
In order to reduce the risk of shut-down due to lack of spares, we strongly recommend our customers to build their own stock of critical spare parts.

SITE SERVICES
Haakon Larsen AS are official IHI representative for start-up and commissioning work of MEG Decanters. Our dedicated crew of specially trained service technicians are performing worldwide service- and commissioning work, both onshore and offshore on regular basis.
TESTING FACILITIES
We can provide test units of IHI Decanters and DrM filters for trial testing of separation ability of different process liquids. The test units can be rented out on short or long term contracts and prices are available upon request.
